AIST is very happy to announce the recent publication "Improving resolution in quantum subnanometre-gap tip-enhanced Raman nanoimaging"

 

In exciting new paper - \"Improving resolution in quantum subnanometre-gap tip-enhanced Raman nanoimaging\" - the authors present the first TERS signals from few-layer molybdenum disulphide and demonstrate a new approach for the study of nanooptical properties of gold molybdenum disulphide junctions using the tip-sample distance dependence of subnanometre-gap Raman and photoluminescence signals.

It is an interesting side-note that the data that drove the conception of this publication were recorded within two weeks of the installation of the equipment in Professor Voronine\'s laboratory in the Institute for Quantum Science and Engineering at Texas A&M.
